I just started incorporating a couple of new things into my life recently, in hopes of bringing a shift in my perspective and also in my experience of abundance.

The first thing, is that I am starting my day earlier… with a morning walk:). Summer is here and it feels so lovely to take time to appreciate nature and fresh air under the warm sun. You’ll see two images of flowers in this post. I took them along my walk this morning. Aren’t they beautiful?

Taking a moment to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you is an incredibly powerful practice.

This brings me to the second thing I just started implementing. It’s my new shift on gratitude. You see, I’ve been practicing gratitude for ever… Making lists of things I love and appreciate. You know how it looks: I am grateful for (something I already have).

This new shift however, is a practice that asks you to be grateful for things you don’t yet have. The idea is to feel as though you already have these things in your life. Really feel and imagine it as though it’s real.

The more you practice that feeling of already having the things on your “yet to manifest” list and the more gratitude you can feel for having these, the faster they will come to you.

I started the daily walks last week and the new gratitude shift only last night! I am curious to notice what this brings in the next little while, as I remain consistent and focused, crowding out the negative fear-based thoughts.

Have you tried shifting your thoughts? What worked for you?
